“Rebellion (lies)” foi o quarto single de Funeral, álbum de estreia lançado em 2004 pela banda canadiana de indie rock Arcade Fire. Neste álbum, Rebellion (lies) surge a seguir à música “Haiti” que termina com a mesma batida de baixo da parte inicial da Rebellion (lies).
A música é uma das mais populares de Arcade Fire e termina grande parte dos seus espectáculos.
O videoclip, aqui apresentado, foi filmado em Southwest Harbor Maine (USA) no dia 29 de Outubro de 2005.

A música tinha sido escolhida para a cena final do episódio piloto da série televisiva The Black Donnelys. No entanto, a banda recusou-se a ceder os direitos da música devido ao conteúdo violento da série. “Open Your Eyes” dos Snow Patrol foi a música escolhida pelos produtores da série para substituir “Rebellion (lies)”.
